How to Disable USB Port On Windows to Avoid Unauthorised use of your Data .

It usually happen to all of us . Some time we don't want to share our data  with our friends but still their there is no way to avoid them . And personally me don't want to share my personal stuff with any others. So, that I thought about something that can  give me more privacy for my personal stuff and I found that to Disable USB Port is the one of best way to avoid the  unauthorised use of my data . This trick is also very use full for the School/Collage  Computers to avoid  unauthorised use . Not only this much by Disabling USB Port we can get safe from getting hacked because Now a days may Hackers are using the USB device to gain the access of victim Computer . So, be safe from the Hacker .




 Step  to Disable USB Port :




Step 1. Click on Start > Click on Run ( If you can't Find Run then Search in the Search Box  ) .




Step 2. Type ( regedit ) in the Run box > Press Enter . Click on Yes .

                                                                                    # Click on the Picture For Clear View .


Step 3. Double Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE  > Double Click on  SYSTEM  > Double Click on CurrentControlSet  >  Double Click on Services > Single Click on usbstor  .





Step 4. On the Left side in the work Area Double Click on the Start .





Step 5. In the Value Data Box Delete 3 and Enter 4 > Click on Ok .





Step 6. Close the Registry Editor and Refresh your Desktop . Successfully you USB Port has been Disable Check that Out . 

 Note : To Re-Enable USB Port enter 3 in the Value Data box in Step 5.
